Upon following one of those editorial "see my website" liners at the back of one of my most favorite reads I discovered one of my favorite authors has a BLOG. And it's updated! I will stalk her most thoroughly. I'm hoping to request an autograph.
The book series in my half exhausted verse is the Maxine Kiss series by Marjorie M. Liu. At this point it is a triology about a demon hunter who wears her pet demons on her skin as an impenetrable armor by day and as close companions and protectors in physical form at night. It is her path of self discovery and saving the world from utter destruction with the help of a very unique family. My copies are dog eared, bent, battered and read repeatedly. The kind of candy that sits on the night stand waiting to be opened to sing you a lullaby to sleep or to tickle your idle fancy for the 100th time when you are at a loss of something to do.
