I have a wonderful twin birthday post hiding in the recesses of my mind waiting to get out. I have begun the Jillian Michael's shred per twin's suggestion. Poor hubby has been working 14 hour shifts. Has anyone seen my attention span? My mother-in-law can be the monkey on my back. Sometimes squeezing in one-more-bible-study really can be the definition of overkill. My work load is erratic as a drunken yo-yo on a licorice spring. Kitty it's called a jumping jack, please stop pawing at my leg. Why did my loving friend leave me baked cryptonite. That one cookie keeps taunting me! Don't give up the ship. Old episodes of Top Chef are such a lovely reminder of home. Oh man, I forgot about that muscle! Damn you IceCream competition ... You are my soulmate!

Hello my name is Darla and I am an impulse shopper. While perusing the Bliss waxing kits for a coworker I got suckered into buying a facial kit at a fairly ridiculous rate. She said my face will be pretty and stretchy and black head free! She was so cute and European and I was bored and shelled out the 32.3 clams for 6 measly applications. Good thing I didn't ask first.
After trying to evade the box's leering view for nearly a week I caved.
I swear if I peel this shit off and get a chemical burn I will be such an unhappy camper. I will also not be in public for the next 48 hours because I'm selfless like that. Oh friend you missed me? I was trying to keep you from burning your corneas out!
Instructions: mix, apply and wait 15-20 minutes until rubberized and peel off.
Minute 10 update. So THIS is what it feels to have a rubber face like those weirdos on TV.
I am so blind. Why did I take out my contacts again? Should've thought this through.
Still cross eyed. Oh my lips are too fixed to hum. Brilliant.
Stop laughing honey. The price of beauty isn't cheap.
Sigh.

Peel, peel, the realization hits there might be some slight issues.
Note to self avoid the hairline at all costs next time, digging paste out of the stubby hairs hurts like a mo-fo.
Ah now I see why it looked like there was enough paste for two faces. The thicker it was applied the easier it peeled. The crumbly thin bits around my nostrils, neck and hair line aren't so pleasant.
Overall effect of the first peel: B+. The soft and smooth after glow is a refreshing change of pace. As touted past procedure cold cream not required.
Less than an A because would've enjoyed a photo demonstration or instructions to apply heavily and to avoid hairline as well as eyes (the later I had assumed on my own.)
